About GOAL PRODUCTIONS
GOAL Productions is a Pasadena, California-based digital motion picture company with a reputation for solid performance, technical excellence and unique creativity. Founded in 1969, the company serves clients worldwide. GOAL Productions specializes in three core areas of business: broadcast production, feature films, and corporate communications.

About the Owner
In 2000, after working as an integral part of the GOAL team for 18 years, Robert Ballo took over ownership of GOAL Productions. As president of GOAL, Robert Ballo serves variously as producer, director and cinematographer. With over 25 years of industry experience, Robert has acted as the Director of Photography on numerous films and television programs. Award-winning productions for clients such as ABC, TBS, PBS, Discovery Channel, and singer Michael Jackson — to name only a few — have aired on national network television, cable networks, and internationally in Asia and Europe.
Robert is an active supporter of High Definition Television and other digital technologies. The documentary College Sports in America, which he shot and produced for GOAL Productions, was one of the first HDTV documentaries shot in America and was made using the first Sony/Panavision 1" tube HD camera in 1991.
Since 1990, Robert has been part of the professional faculty in the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California (USC) teaching film and video imaging. A graduate of the USC film production program himself, Robert is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
